Taipa Houses now have cute red-eared terrapins installed! The “Tetralogy of Love” series of art installations by Macao’s original IP “Ho Sio Chong” - a red-eared terrapin with different creative shells - are now on display at Taipa Houses.

In the last century, the firecracker industry was one of the three main handicraft industries in Macao, and Taipa was the main production base for firecrackers. Located in Taipa for almost a century, the former Iec Long Firecracker Factory is the largest and most iconic former firecracker factory preserved in the city.
