Design District Hong Kong (#ddHK) is a creative tourism project that celebrates authentic culture and creativity and, through design elements, livens up unique local neighbourhoods in Hong Kong.  Launched in 2018, #ddHK has transformed different neighbourhoods into new tourism destinations filled with characteristics, and has become a well-acclaimed creative cultural tourism project.

Travel trends around the world are shifting toward "In-depth travel". With the funding and support from the Tourism Commission of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, a series of travel videos titled "3-5 Combo - Deep Travel” is set to debut. In addition to showcasing the rich resources of Hong Kong's local travel characteristics, the videos will inspire the travel trade to create more in-depth signature itineraries, with a view to encouraging the development of tourism products with local characteristics and the pursuit of the concept of "tourism is everywhere in Hong Kong".

Longqingxia

Every country or city has its own parks or monuments built in memorial of the martyrs. For example, the Cenotaph in Hong Kong and the Monument to the People's Heroes in Beijing. For Almaty, it is the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, which was built in honour of the 28 Almaty martyrs that kept Moscow safe with their brave sacrifices when resisting the Nazis.

The Western Salt Water Service Reservoirs, nestled within a hillside cavern, is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. Situated near the University of Hong Kong’s Centennial Campus and the historic Grade III Elliot Pumping Station and Filters with Staff Quarter, this operating reservoir has also served as a backdrop for popular films like Cold War. For the first time, this Instagrammable site opens its doors for a public art experience. Each participant will receive a specially designed rainstick to explore the cavern’s unique environment. Immerse yourself in a sensory adventure, where vivid projections, silhouetted figures, the sound of flowing rain and rhythmic drumbeats combine to create a one-of-a-kind experience. After the Rain is a multimedia sound installation collaboratively created by local arts collectives Toolbox Percussion and Dimension Plus, along with Singaporean composer Lee Jiayi.
