Songkran is a festival where people celebrate the New Year and pray for a good year, symbolising the removal of evils and misfortunes by splashing water on each other to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. The Songkran Festival is just one of the many events that take place in Thailand, with special celebrations taking place all over the country, such as the Buddhist ceremony, the Puja, and the parade of floats!
