Let’s spread seasonal cheer and share the festive spirit this Christmas! From 22 November 2024 to 1 January 2025, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will host the Hong Kong WinterFest with a bigger-than-ever Christmas Town brimming with festive magic. With a theme of gifts, the 10,000 square feet Christmas Town will display a host of decorative gift boxes as well as surprises galore for you to capture in souvenir photos. The dazzling highlight is a towering 20-metre-high giant Christmas tree which for the first time will magically transform into a giant canvas, beaming out light projections of seasonal festivities to spread good tidings across the city.
Hong Kong’s night sky will also be lit up with four Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics displays over Victoria Harbour this winter, three of which will take place during the Christmas holiday period, illuminating the whole city with festive cheer. Don’t miss the thrilling calendar of events designed to brighten up your celebrations, culminating in a spectacular New Year countdown firework musical display. Where better to ring in 2025 than in Asia’s most fun-filled and festive city, Hong Kong?

“Hong Kong WinterFest” Christmas Town

- 22 November 2024 | 8:30pm – 11:00pm
- 23 November 2024 - 20 December 2024 | 5:00pm – 11:00pm (Monday to Friday) & 11:00am – 11:00pm (Saturday and Sunday)
- 21 December 2024 – 1 January 2025 | 11:00am – 11:00pm
- *The opening hours on 24 and 25 December will be extended to 1:00am
- *The opening hours on 31 December is subject to change. Please note that crowd control measures may be implemented, and entry may be prohibited.
- Notes:
Last admission: 30 minutes before closing
Christmas Town lights on: 5:00pm daily
Christmas tree light projections: 6:00pm daily, showing every hour and at 30 minutes past the hour (each session lasts about two minutes)
Venue: Harbourside Lawn West, Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District
Dates (Santa Claus’ Appearance): 21- 22; 24 -26 December 2024Crowd control measures may be implemented during the festive period. Please follow the instructions of the police and staff.
