The 5th Fairview Lantern Carnival - Journey to the Oriental Myths" at the Splendid China Folk Village in Shenzhen is the largest of its kind in terms of scale. This year, the Fairview side has teamed up with the top lantern production team in China to create a 520,000-square-metre lantern festival in South China. There will be seven themed lantern viewing areas, a 2,000-square-metre lantern display of the Four Great Beasts at the Lake, more than a dozen national flash mobs, the reappearance of Chinese NPCs (characters played by staff members), a food bazaar and other exciting activities. Travelling back in time, you will enter the world of oriental myths and experience a colourful lantern feast.
