The dance drama Wing Chun was written by Feng Shuangbai , chairman of the China Dancers Association and co directed by the acclaimed choreographers in the Mainland, Han Zhen and Zhou Liya and performed by Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre. The story begins with the 20th century film Wing Chun , presenting two parallel narratives: the "backstage" story of the film crew, and the "on screen" journey of Ip Man’s struggles in Hong Kong. The performancee integrates martial arts with classical and modern dance, providing the audience with a captivating visual experience.

Produced by Foshan Cantonese Opera Troupe, Cantonese Opera Film The Legend of The White Snake uses location shooting for some scenes and blends traditional Cantonese opera with modern cinematic elements, telling the love story between the thousand-year-old snake demon Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian. The film boasts an impressive production line-up, featuring Li Shuqin, the director of Foshan Cantonese Opera Troupe, a national first-class performer and a winner of the China Theatre Plum Blossom Award, who performed as Bai Suzhen. Meanwhile, the renowned Hong Kong Cantonese opera actor Law Ka-ying plays Xu Xian, under direction of the national first-class director, Yin Dawei. This film received multiple nominations at the 2nd Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival, including Best Film and Best Art Direction. Li Shuqin won Best Actress Award while Law Ka-ying received Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 3rd Jiangmen Art Festival was successfully held on 28 June 2023.
