Daya Bay is not all about nuclear power plants, but is itself a tourist spot worth visiting. You will be discovering a variety of cultural and natural attractions here. Kids will be thrilled to see different geological landscapes, including purple limestone, tuff and granite that wow them. The rugged coastline of Daya Bay forms a picture of “big bay covering small bay”.

Besides the bay and stones, there is also a mangrove which is the best-preserved of its kind in Eastern Guangdong. Qingquan Temple (Qingquan as spring water in Chinese), which was built in the Qing dynasty, embellishes the bay with a cultural touch.
