International Arts Carnival 2025

Introduction

The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra (HKCO) is committed to preserving and passing on traditional Chinese music culture while actively pursuing innovation, as well as the integration of environmental protection and the arts. HKCO is the first performing arts group to set a world record in responding to the United Nation's 'Sustainable Development Goal 13 - Climate Action'. To this end, HKCO has selected two performances - 'A Musical Treasure Hunt – Percussion Kaleidoscope' and 'A Showcase of Parent-child works of Cheng Kwok Kong' - to launch its first round of the 'SDG point collection programme' this summer, with the hope of joining hands with the public to create a better and more sustainable future through the power of music.
