One of the beauty spots in Zhuhai - Qi'ao Island

Only a few of Zhuhai's islands are connected to the mainland. Among those islands, Qi'ao Island is the one name that known to many. It is located on the Northeast of Xiangzhou city. Situated at the estuary of the Pearl River, Qi’ao Island is directly opposite to Humen. You can drive to the island via Qi’ao Bridge and enjoy the view of a wide range of animals and plants in the mangrove reserve.

The island features high terrain on both north and south ends, flat terrain in the middle as well as "Nine Bays and Eighteen Peaks", making the island a suitable place for hikers. Besides natural attractions, there are also cultural attractions with a long history, including Baishi Street, anti-British Fortress and the former residence of Su Zhaozheng, a labour movement activist. All those natural and cultural charm make Qi'ao Island one of the top ten scenic spots in Zhuhai.
