Hidden within the bustling city, Sanxi Village in Zhongshan offers a journey back to a place steeped in old-world charm. With three main streets intersecting with narrow lanes, it stands as one of the few well-preserved traditional villages. The architecture here is a blend of both Chinese and Western styles. You will find conventional Chinese features like large doorways, grey bricks, and black tiles alongside Western elements such as Roman columns and louvred windows. Recently, the village has been revitalised into art studios, private dining venues and more, breathing new life into this ancient village.
