Romantic Christmas Market: Poland Warsaw

Among many European countries, the Christmas market in Warsaw, Poland is definitely worth a visit.

Poland is a Catholic country and still retains many traditional values and ways of life, with churches being the most common buildings in cities and towns. Nowadays, Poland has historical buildings and cultural relics in every corner of the country, and many medieval old towns still have their charm. Let's take a look at how Christmas is celebrated in Poland, a purely European religious country.

Walking into Warsaw's old town, the first thing that strikes you is the Christmas tree standing outside the Royal Castle, while the Christmas market is at the other end, set up around the city wall, which looks completely different from the usual market pattern.

The Warsaw Christmas Market is a "hot spot". In addition to the many stalls, the bazaar also reserves space for Christmas scenes, such as a white Christmas tree, a wooden reindeer trolley and Santa Claus. Not only do tourists take photos here, but locals also take photos with their friends and family in the Christmas scene.

The market offers a wide range of stalls, from traditional food and drinks to fun and souvenirs, there's something for everyone.

🥘 Traditional food: Polish sausages, roasted meats, gingerbread, grilled cheeses, hot soups, chicken pearls, breads and cakes.
🍷Drinks: mulled wine, beer, other alcohol, etc.
🎡Entertainment: Handicraft workshops, small amusement rides, and light decorations with a focus on carding.
