The Romantic Africa —— South Africa

Autumn in the northern hemisphere is spring in the southern hemisphere. Imagine the whole city surrounded by a sea of blue flowers, as if falling into a blue and purple dream, this is Pretoria, also the administrative capital of South Africa.

The city of Pretoria is filled with different kinds of flowers and trees, so Pretoria is also known as the "Garden City".

In October, the Jacaranda season is at its peak, with blue and purple flowers spreading across the city, and the flowers falling like a beautiful flower carpet, with a light fragrance in the air. The best place to see the flowers is the Union Building, located on a hill overlooking the city. It is also recommended to start from Church Square and stroll along the main street, Church Street. While looking at the thick European-style buildings on both sides of the road, you can experience the 43 kilometers long Jacaranda carpet and feel the snow-blown baptism of violet flowers.

The "blue carpets" have a special appearance, with black trunks and twisted growth. But the flowers are pale purple color, with a touch of softness in the roughness. South Africa is the most spectacular place in Africa where the blue carpets bloom, and it is also called the Brazilian violet because of its origin in Brazil.

In addition to the blue carpets, we must also mention the national flower of South Africa, the Protea, also known as sugarbushes, which is known as the "king of flowers" and is a symbol of "victory and good luck". The name Protea is derived from Proteus, the Greek god of the sea, because of its versatile appearance.

The flowers bloom in winter and early spring, so the nectar of South Africa's imperial flowers is richly colored and has a strong aroma of imperial flowers.

It is also the exclusive flower for South African wedding ceremonies, and in South Africa, it is almost a symbol of beauty and sunshine.
