Relaxing City Walks through Art and Historical Sites
Serbia is one of the most affordable destinations: some prices, especially for food, drinks and transport, will surprise you. The national parks include river gorges, mountains, lakes, caves and forests, showcasing the amazing nature and beauty of Serbia.
With more and more of Stari Grad (Old Town) becoming pedestrianised, it's a pleasure to stroll through the café-lined streets, starting at the main artery, Knez Mihailova. Admire the wonderful art at the National Museum of Serbia on Republic Square, then follow the road to Kalemegdan, a huge historic park overlooking the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. You'll see floating restaurants and clubs all along the river, and wide waterside paths for lazy walks and bike rides.
