Sanmen Island is a beautiful island lying between Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay. Being the largest island in Huizhou, Sanmen Island is hailed as the “Maldives in Guangdong ”. One thing special about the island is that the middle of the island lies a freshwater lake called Xiangsi Lake ("Xiangsi" as affectionately missing in Chinese ), and Haishishanmeng Peak ( Haishishanmeng as lifelong commitment in Chinese).
